Sky Customer Service.

Hi

My very old Sky Box packed up, as did my Sky Remote.

I ordered a very cheap Sky + HD Box on line, which had a fault.

The Vendor replaced it straight away, 24 hours.

I bought a new Sky Remote, fitted the new Sky Box today and then rang Sky to pair my card.

It was answered within 2 minutes, a lovely man, got my Box paired within 3 minutes, really simple.

Anything else he asked.

Yes, well I had to buy a new Sky Remote as well so need to set that up to control my TV as well.

I can do that for you now and hey pronto, a few simple questions and it was done.

That is Customer Service in a nutshell.

I don't doubt they have good customer service I just object to paying for tv stations, but it's good to hear you had a good call.

That is so true realspeed.
But I do agree that their service is usually very good.
And if you are prepared to negotiate then one can easily get up to 50% off any package.
Particularly if you say you want to leave.

Hi

No cable here, so just Sky.

I only have the basic package, which is quite reasonable.

Re: Sky Customer Service.

I am really pleased with Sky. I also don’t have cable here!

Some months ago, Sky put my monthly subscription up. I rang them and said it was too much, l wanted to cancel.
Of course they don’t want to lose customers so offered me my Sky package at half price...£6.75 per month. So l renewed my contract!

swimmy, in the past, when my remote control wasn’t working properly, l rang Sky and they sent me another!
Maybe, it was still under guarantee?
