He is gorgeous little fellow.Sorry to tell you this but if he is a baby, he will not survive the winter, he needs putting in a box and fed and watered till the spring.
I found one which had come into the pub one night, I put him in a crisp box and took him home, and telephoned the Hedgehog rescue who told me how to look after him
I named him Cooper, after the pubs name, after he was let loose he stayed in my garden for years, and eventually there was a family of them running around all our back gardens in our block.
We fed him on cats meat and water, in the greenhouse, wrapped in a blanket and he left in the spring.
Cooper was only about 4 inches long when found.
