Feathered Friends

Hi!

I love mallard ducks and they often come visiting. The first two pictures are from the road where I live and just outside our garden. They used to come almost every day in the Summer. At one time we had 20 on the green opposite our house. The other pictures are from various parks.

Re: Feathered Friends

I took these two at Whitby Abbey; seemed very friendly. I wonder what they are?

I think swans are so graceful.

And a lovely blackbird.

Re: Feathered Friends

I waited ages for this lovely robin to settle on the fence and then I had to hurry with the shot.

Superb photos lass. I must put some of my birdy photos on here as well, but I won't hijack your thread. I'll start me own.

Re: Feathered Friends

Here's one I took in Yorkshire. My guess is tht the black one is a mallard with unusual colouring.
