Wackford Squeers has died.
Sir Rhodes Boyson has died.Known by some in The House as “Wackford Squeers” (the headmaster of Dotheboys Hall in the novel “”Nicholas Nickleby” by Charles Dickens more from his Pork Chop Victorian whiskers and his background as a schoolmaster than anything else he was an Old School, Conservative.
I see none of his calibre in The House today.

Just as well - we don't need any more Tories old school or or not. I seem to remember that the person you are describing is in fact Gerald Nabarro.
