Floods in the park

We had torrential rain here over night & this morning. Roads flooded & closed. Never seen it so bad before. It was gorgeous this afternoon though but the Park was waterlogged

Some photos taken in the Park - Taffy enjoyed running for his ball in it though

Good job I wore my Wellies

Re: Floods in the park

I've never had to wear wellies all through summer before.
There is a Wood at one end of the park & even with Wellies on I couldnt get through it -on one of the paths I kept to the edge of the flood on the path & it still reached up to about 2 inch from the top. I gave up trying then & turned round.

I dont even wear a Jumper in Winter- sometimes a cardie on top of my T shirt if its very cold & I am going out but even then not in the house. The most I wear then is a long sleeved t shirt
