How lovely. The last time I was in that part of Wales was when I was a child. Lovely to see the castle again.

I love Wales. It's not too far from where we live and we visit from time to time. Lovely photos.

Smashing photos Sue, we were around that area and Snowdonia a couple of years ago and enjoyed it thoroughly...

Sue darlin' tell you little story about Caernarfon Castle. Many, many years ago - visited there and went up into the Eagle Tower. At that time, Chisel toed shoes were the fashion. Walking up the spiral staircase was a nightmare because the extended chisel toe was too long to walk up the inside of the staircase.

Re: Wales 2012

We were really fortunate with the weather really good we live in Shropshire not a million miles from where we stayed which was at Llanystumdwy which is between Pwllheli and Cricceith it was a cottage in the grounds of Lloyd Georges home which is now a writers centre and we had a really lovely week there I have never done a holiday in Mid and North Wales before as we have always looked on it as a place for a day trip but will most definatlly go again...Sue

Re: Wales 2012

Oh yes Uncle Joe there is a smashing ice cream parlour there we had to go through Beddlegert a few times I wonder why? Many years ago we visited the grave of Gellert with my daughter as the story of Gellert was one of her favourites she wanted it told to her many times when she was a child she is 32 now...It's a really pretty little village...
