and I have the start of a winter cold-so out with the tissues! Its windy but dry out here in the east

Not man-flu - oh no! Or maybe even swine flu? Hope it's not a horrible sniffle anyway. Lots of hot lemon and honey and aspirin or paracetamol if you have a temperature.
Raining here but no strong winds, as forecast.

Mornin all, hope it's not the same as I've had for a week now Chris, I still feel hellish, no runny nose but I'm all aches and pains.

Wet and dreary here, stronger winds than of late therefore the leaves are falling continuously ......... I hate clearing up wet leaves, it seems to take ages.

I woke up thinking there was hailstones falling like mad.. I looked over to the window and in my half asleep state was then convinced we were being invaded by hundreds of Cabbage Whites (im not good in the morning). Eventually I got up to investigate.. the place is littered with sycamore wings there was absolutely hundreds blowing in the wind and bouncing off the window!

Afternoon Off's, still dark here, so not sure whats going on outside. packing cases for my journey home tomorrow...Then going for a walk to local shop, see if there is anything I have missed...

Hi all. Cloudy early but bright sunshine now and finally warming a bit, up to 13 now before lunch. Did the market run. Frost in the suburbs last night; not here in the City yet; will soon be time to lug all the potted plants indoors for Winter .Hope all the poorly people are feeling better soon!

East wind is the bad one here too; that's what we had during the spell of 5 day rain and cold that just ended yesterday. It's South today.
