Fiesta in Almoradi

We were "fiesta..ing" yet again last night, got home around 2 a.m. Procession began at 10 p.m. but it was brilliant.

We are on the Costa Blanca Morticia. The procession was part of the Moors and Christians fiesta, last night was the Moors procession, tonight the Christians, but we won't be going tonight.

Ah .. I don't claim to be a geography guru never having been to Spain but the Moorish influence has left the country with some wonderful architecture and a vibrant richness of life.
What wonderful costumes they're wearing ... though I was bit bemused to see the grass skirts
