Birds are nice but .....

You should see the mess they're leaving on the cars, seagulls are the worst offenders, some of them are enormous in more ways than one.

When the fresh mulberries are out, you daren't hang the laundry outside to dry! They do make a mess! We have seagulls at the Reservoir, none in my neighborhood, luckily.

I often come back to the car park at work and discover some v large bird has left a deposit on the car. Usually on the windscreen (do you think they do that on purpose!?)

I assume it to be seagulls, there are more and more of them in towns and cities nowadays.

They follow the food, and there's a lot of it available in dumpsters and trash bins, especially where there are a lot of fast food restaurants. I see many of them uptown.

We live on the coast [well nearly] and our car is a prime target. Equally bad is the powerful screeching they make -perched on our roof at dawnbreak ...

Funny you should post this - my poor husband parked under a tree on Saturday and came back to find that 'a pteradactyl with a bellyache' had left huuuuuuuge deposits (complete with elderberry colouration) all over the screen. I think there were 4 huge splats.
Guess it was a pigeon roost.
He wasn't best pleased

Granted, they're very messy birds, but I do love their calls ...reminds me of holidays at the seashore.

I live far enough away from the Seagulls, but going into town, they are a menace....

It's not just the cars, many a time we've had to bung the washing back in the machine.
