Lost the plot !
Yesterday I had a lot of running around to do. I stood in a queue for over 2 hours to change a water contract, no choice, the new company takes over on 1st September and all new contracts must be dealt with by then otherwise the water is cut off and a reconnection charge will be levied. (Can't blame the Spanish this time, it's a French company).From there I had to go and sort out a mistake on a home insurance policy, after that to a post room to send some mail. After that shopping. I arrived at the shops, parked the car and then opened the car window. I sat there, sort of perplexed, for a second or two wondering why I was opening the window to get out of the car
I'm not sure if this was a senior moment or sunstroke
ours seems to have disappeared again having been visible for a whole week so it can't be all bad

Oh that's nowt lass. I once scraped me left-overs into the sink then threw me plate in the bin! I had me mind on other things at the time, but couldn't believe I'd done that.

Is it an age thing? Years ago when the kids were little I went to bed early with a bout of flu or something. I had my hot water bottle in one hand and a cup of tea in the other. I had to walk round the bed to get to my side and threw my hot water bottle over on the pillow. I chucked the tea instead and spent ages clearing that little lot up!|
