Bluejay Visitor

On my last zoo trip I was preparing to enter the Lorikeet Parrot Habitat when a wild bird flashed in front of my eyes, outside the cage. It was a local bluejay of some size that landed on a tree limb only 8 feet away. I took a quick snap and was rewarded with this capture.

What a clear picture Bob I feel I could reach out and touch the bird. It is a beautiful colour.

I consider myself lucky if they keep still while I snap them, they seem to always fly off just as I'm about to press the button. Lovely shot Bob.
