A Pride Of Lions

This was a great day for photographing the animals at the Portland Zoo. We had overcast skies and 78 degrees. The animals really seemed relaxed, almost posing for the visitors. Usually they're bored stiff and don't even move around. The entire pride was out and checking out everyone.

I studied the photo before I noticed your remarks and was already thinking they look as though they posed for the camera! Beautiful beasts aren't they? Love the texture, colour and composition.
