Me and Sheila with our eldest son and his German ladyfriend at the summit of the Zugspitz, Germany's highest mountain. On Saturday we are going to Bavaria for a week's holiday and Richard and Eva are coming to join us for a few days.

Good morning everybody. Its lovely and sunny at the moment and seems ages since I've seen blue sky, but apparently it will be short lived as lots of rain on its way

Have got a couple of doggie jobs to do and the usual office stuff. Have to clean the car as well, so its all go.

Lovely photo Alan, here's one I took a couple of nights ago when I had to go to Loweswater. It was raining at the time but I always love seeing the clouds like this so got wet taking it!

Crinan Canal Reflection

Morning Alan and All Dry, heavy blanket of cloud overhead and clammy - a wee wind is coming up though! Pleasant out walking in it though

Good morning fellow members a bit of sun at last so I am off to do some jobs in the garden before the next down pour arrives .

Good morning all, another lovely sunny day here, I'm taking the wife up to an old pub we used to visit for lunch today, we haven't been there for ages and she likes the place.
Thats a smashing photo Alan, and in case I forget, have a great break when you go.
I love that picture Marian, the mist makes it look very spooky.
That canal shot brought back a memory Rosemary, I was 7 and my brother was 9, we were crossing the the lock gates on the local canal when one of the wooden planks gave way under my brother, luckily my burly uncle grabbed him before he fell in, it was a long drop, he had somebody's prayer that day.

'Afternoon all a very pleasant day here, it has been sunny for most of the time and I've been pottering in the garden. The garden chairs are out and it's lovely to sit and relax in the sun once again. I have a line of washing out which has dried for a change, just need the motivation to iron it now
