Portland Roses

Here are a couple of the roses that stood out in my morning shoot.

This is one of the more brilliantly color roses I photographed during my morning visit to the Rose Garden in Portland. I wound up with nearly a square format to get the composition correct on this shot.

Wonderful photos,the bright one is full of warmth and I love the yellow one too,I used to have a yellow one and it was called Peace I think.

This is actually known as the Portland Test Rose Garden. They cross breed varieties to come up with unique species. There are hundreds of such variation on display. Some as small as a coin and others the size of a dinner plate.
