Re: IT course

How long a course is it Steve, and what qualifications will it lead to? I know that IT is a very competitive field these days so I'm not sure what you hope it will lead to, but best of luck with it anyway...

Re: IT course

This is probably the Beginners type of course and may be provided by one of the companies working for the DWP UKM.

It'll hopefully give you an insight and should also give you a good idea of whether this is the way to go for you, never mind what the Joke Shop's people tell you!

I've only ever had basic training but by 2006 I was a Senior Administrator in IT working for the Foreign Office - all gone now but not bad for a bloke almost completely self-taught!

Good Luck!! stevmk2

Re: IT course

If you are starting from first base, getting a job in IT can be extremely difficult without gaining the experience. However, it's always good to have solid foundations to build upon, so good luck with your course.
