I snapped this phenomenum from our hotel room on the seafront in Douglas, Isle of Man. The sea mist was coming in and, to the left, is a hill. this forced the sea mist to the right and hence the "wedge" was formed. I emailed this to the meteorological office on the Isle and he said that he'd never seen this before.......interesting. You can see the scale of it by the ship on the right.
