Classic Lion Portrait

I'm sure glad the weather was nice, at least for one day yesterday. There wasn't a big crowd at the zoo & I was the very first person through the opening gate. This is the first time I've seen this male lion perched where the ladies generally lie. It gave me a chance to get a few closeups.
