They were lucky they weren't killed. Their parents must have been crazy to allow them to do something so very dangerous!

Thank goodness the girls were rescued. I'm amazed that there were no safety rings around at the harbour wall though.

The girls were very lucky - well done to those people who rescued them.
I reckon that the safety rings were stolen..people do steal them, I've no idea why. Though the name of the place, if it was printed on them might account for that. Eyemouth?
And it's easy to misjudge the force behind a wave.

I heard this on the news earlier, what a horrible thing to happen. I thought it strange when they said there were no floatation rings around.
