Great....Just Great.

Been up most of the Night with Toothache, started a couple of Days ago but went Nuts on me last Night.
Just back from an Emergency Appointment with the Dentist who told me my Back Gums are all Inflamed, he gave me a Weeks worth of Antibiotics and then I'm back in 12 Days time and he's got to remove 2 maybe 3 Teeth way at the back. Just what I need.

Oh dear! I do hope you are not having too much pain.
I too had a problem Tuesday night, and after an E.appointment Wednesday morning I have been referred to a specialist dental surgeon as it will mean scalpel an stitches.
Good Luck!!!

Aw Roxy you have my sympathy, toothache is dreadful.
Strong painkillers or a tot of whisky and an early night are to be recommended.

I hope you feel better soon

Oh dear Roxy and it's the holiday time as well. I have heard that oil of cloves is good if you can put it onto the area, but I'm not sure - it might make it worse if you have inflamed gums. Maybe painkillers are best. I hope the Anti-biotic kicks in quickly and you will br able to manage until you can get back to the dentist. Teeth - they are trouble when they are coming in and trouble when they are going out.

When I had gum trouble a few years ago my dentist told me to swoosh my mouth and gums with Corsodyl every day, it helped to take the sooth my gums...

Oh Roxy darlin' - sorry to hear you're in pain. Only just now catching up with this thread. Yes Rena is right a small drop of 'oil of cloves' dabbed on the finger and wiped around the affected area of the gums, might ease the pain for a while.
