Pomegranites

Stopped off on the way home from the market today to take a couple of photos of the pomegranite blossom. Not easy as the "orchard?" is enclosed by a high wire fence, but it looks so beautiful for a couple of miles.

The Blossom is like a quince shrub I have and the leaves are a bit like a Laural.

Re: Pomegranites

When you see the hundreds of bushes in the "orchard" it looks amazing, bright red and dark green, it really is beautiful.

Re: Pomegranites

The flowers are quite hard and feel a bit waxy. I know someone who had one, it flowered but never really fruited.
