Curried fruit

I had lunch with 3 girlfriends on Sunday and our hostess made curried peaches which were wonderful! She served them warm with sausages, a spinach salad with raspberries, blueberries and pecans, and a lovely risotto. The peaches were the highlight and we're all waiting for her recipe to come by email - basically butter, brown sugar and curry.

Does anyone else make curried fruit? She says it's nice for apples and pears as well.

Re: Curried fruit

Sultanas have been used in curries for a long time.
I don't see the difference in using other fruits, although it does not appeal to me.
I would not make it myself, I would certainly try it if I was offered some.
