Yesterday we went to one of our favourite pubs for lunch only to find that it had closed down. Only 3 years ago you wouldn't have got a table unless you had booked it a week earlier!

Blimey your up early, it's only 5.10am, The rain thudding on the windows woke me up and I couldn't get back to sleep...so here I am with a mug of Coffee. Good Morning by the way.

I'm up every morning by about 4.45am, it's a habit I've got into and, when I get up, I'm wide awake not dozy and befuddled like some people are first thing in the morning. On the other hand I'm falling asleep in front of the telly from about 9pm.

Good Morning Alan, Roxy and All The early bird catches the worm, eh, Alan - and Roxy!! I am an early riser myself and, like you, Alan, I am wide awake! I clean out my parrots cages and then feed them and Loki - then I have a cup of tea I never needed an alarm clock when I was working - my internal alarm always woke me up

Damp and dreich outside at the moment. Yesterday was a washout, I got soaked going to Glasgow and coming back!! Still I enjoyed my coffee and chat with my friend

Good morning to all of us early birds and to all stopinbeds joining later...

We bought a replacement fridge/freezer from Currys yesterday as ours was on the blink, and it's being delivered this morning (according to Currys web site) between 6.17 am and 10.17am this morning.. , so I've been defrosting and removing the old appliance from it's built in unit ready for the new one. Will the new one fit in the same space, crikey I hope so...

Good morning fellow members sunny but very chilly here today.

I had a doctors appointment and forgot it is the Malvern Gardens show and got stuck in a large cue of traffic.
I think it is about £20 to get in these days so I won't be going.

I am off to baby sit soon, have a pleasant day everyone.

Good morning all, Sunny here today but it's gone very cold again and I think we'll have more rain soon, it's Summers like this make me look forward to Winter.. What's the use of complaining when your a man, all you get abuse.

I've just finished fitting the new fridge freezer and had a bit of luck, in that it happened to fit in the gap perfectly.....phew , so here's to another 14 years of trouble free chilling.........
