Happy Sunday folk.

Sheila and I went for a walk down by the river Nene yesterday only to see swans swimming where normally cows are grazing. In the twenty or so years we've been walking there we've never seen floods like these.

Alan we have one feild near us that turns into a lake during winter months and then a lapwing hide away during the summer. Flooding is normal round here but not as bad as 2009 was.

It is a damp morning with puddles all along the bridle path which serve as drinking places for mother natures creature who seem to be more hungry than normal today. The nosie of the Pheasants and Peacocks competing for the loudest voice is wonderful to listen to with the odd cry from the Magpies thrown in to vary the sounds.

Plans for today are a quick visit to Tesco when they open for some bird food, then it is going next door to set up the email programs on a new computer that she has bought followed by a late lunch with friends at a local establishment before spending the rest of the day relaxing with Napoleon.

Gotta fly

Have a great day everyone and did you have one

Re: Happy Sunday folk.

Bright and frosty here this morning but a peasant day weatherwise in prospect methinks. We are walking the dogs in Clumber Park after coffee, then having a picnic before visiting a new garden centre that has opened locally.

Enjoy the day yourselves if you can...

Re: Happy Sunday folk.

Sunny day here with the prospect of it warming up later.
A little gardening and a tidy up in preparation for a BBQ later today.
I hope everyone's day is a fine one.

Re: Happy Sunday folk.

Another fine day in the making here

Have got a couple of jobs on today so not free all day which is a shame as my garden needs me! But I should be able to walk Bonnie along the river at some point today which she'll love.

Enjoy the BBQ Mesco and Barry the dogs will enjoy walking in clumber park.

Here's a photo I took yesterday while in Troutbeck. Enjoy the rest of the day folks

Good morning fellow members a bright start but chilly.
I have been busy in the garden and making biscuits for the children .

Lots of thing to do and not enough hours in the day to do them that's the problem . Have an enjoyable day everyone

Morning all...

Wife has yet to tell me what I'm doing today But I could be looking at a sunday roast in a local pub, maybe a walk of the beach and then to visit some relatives.

Have a good one...

Dunure

Good Morning All Beautiful morning up here again! Gosh we Scots are being spoilt by the sun, although it did dull down yesterday afternoon but was still nice out walkies with Loki, who took me a nice very long walk! Both of us were shattered when we got home, nearly 4 hours later

Love all the photos.

Many thanks Bob for sharing those links.

Hope the weather brightens up elsewhere.

Take care and stay safe.

Re: Happy Sunday folk.

Good morning everyone looks like it's going to be a nice day here, a bit on the chilly side but the sun is out!

Spending some much needed time on the garden later, everything is still looking so sodden though.

No other plans for the day.

Enjoy your day all!
