Posing Giraff

This is another example of zoo animals playing to the camera. I don't know if it's the focus lock beep that attracts their attention but I get a lot of animals turn and look straight at me when I focus. I was shooting at 1600 ISO, F/11, 1/350" at 130mm focal length.

Yep - looks like posing for the camera to me! Great shot - love the composition and lighting.

Actually composition isn't easy with a giraffe. I had to expand the frame to crop to 20x30 inches and get him all in there. LOL

All amimals turn away from me when I try to take their photos - even my dog

Me too. I have hundreds of animal shots, all with their butts pointing at me.
