I've got to sort out my clothes today for Sheila to pack. We're going to the Norfolk Broads on Friday for a long weekend.

Morning everyone, just started to rain here in the Midlands so looks like I've a day of odd jobs and relaxing by the fire in prospect....

Hope your weekend in Norfolk goes well Alan, we were supposed to be caravanning at Sandringham next week, but I think we are going to postpone for a week to let the weather improve...

Jimbo, what a coincidence, I went to Aberdeen once and it was a very wet morning then as well......

Well what a dreary day. Wet, Windy, miserable. Got to go to work otherwise i would stay at home with a cup of coffee and a good book.

Good Morning Alan, Jimbo, Barry and All A dull and dreich start to the morning so far. Hope it brightens up but loads of heavy clouds about - can't see Ben Lomond or the surrounding mountains today from my bedroom windows

Good morning all, a really terrible day here, wind, rain, thunder, the works. However we have to make the best of it so I'll steel myself for the 50 yard dash to the local at lunchtime (Logan's Run, I call it) and join the rest of the miserable moaning bunch of old lads. Love that picture Rosemary. Enjoy your break Alan.

I like this picture because it looks such a happy restful place to be, so is the graveyard, but you know what I mean.

I honestly haven't a clue Alan, I got a whole file of lovely scenes from around the World from my Son, he knows I love nice photographs, but unfortunately the place names are missing, I do hope someone on the forum can identify some of the places.

Good morning all

What a day! Torrential downpours this morning leaving the gutters more like rivers. I managed to dash to Sainsbury's only to find half a dozen aisles blocked off from the public and rain pouring through different parts of the roof in streams. There were buckets, mops, cardboard and driers everywhere. Not sure how true it was but one of the security men said the leak was caused by seagulls attacking the flashing of the roof of the building
