Homles man Dog

today on my way home on the buss I saw a man and his dog sitting in a door way with a blanket over them both its been bitter cold today it made me think how lucky I was to have a warm home to come back to and food in the cubards If I had been walking past I would have called at the coffie shop got him a warm drink and some soup
its verry sad to think some do not have a roof over there heads

That's sad... but in a way it's good they have each other's companionship. You have a kind heart Pixie.

It always amazes me how well trained the dogs of homeless people are. They are quite content to sit quietly with their owners & when they are walking around they seldom have a lead on. We've got a few round here & I do feel sorry for them.

Re: Homles man Dog

It does make you appreciate what you have Pixie......
I was recently told off by Security at my local supermarket for buying some dog food pouches,a coffee and a sandwich for a bloke and his Spaniel who were sheltering........Not begging....by a trolley park.
They weren't bothering anyone but Mr Jobsworth gave me a stern warning not to do it again......As if that would stop me....... I'm bigger than him.

Yes I used to do that when I was shopping in Blackpool. Make you sick these no-one people who think they are some-one.

What the hell is wrong with an act of human compassion?, you were helping the poor directly, cutting out the charity administrators charges, you are to be applauded Shirley.
If the security people ever have to experience homelessness they will regret their policies, well done you!.

I've thought the same thing myself. I've had dogs who wouldn't stay close no matter if you had a 3lb sirloin around your neck but the homeless seem to be able to communicate their neediness to the dog and they respond.
