Slumming sunday

-well thats how I feel! Yesterday was bedding everything-down-for-the-winter day-that may have a lot to do with it . Fairly 'dowly' start to the morning here.

Morning all

That is the plus side to no sense of smell 95% of the time Nero!

No work today, I have an appointment with a paint brush and woodwork today, two glass doors with small panels .

If it doesn't pour with rain I will take the dogs out on the bike. They love it!

Hope everyone has a lovely day.

Have fun, I hate doing those types, painting all round the astragals does my head in, did you know you can get an aid tool for this ? it's an aluminium plate you place on the glass, butting against the moulding so when you paint it stops the paint going on the glass.

Morning all. Dull and dry here.
I'm a bit sore at the mo, so will probably be a quiet person today (Stop cheering!)
Roast chicken for lunch - maybe that and a glass or three of Chardonay will perk me up?

Me I'm a roast beef fan -with all the trimmings --we rarely have our big meal at lunchtime any more though

I like beef too - bone in rib - with Yorkshire's and a rich gravy
Then cold beef sandwiches or salad next day. mmmm

Re: Slumming sunday

Morning all,

Wet and gloomy here with a steady drizzle. Cassie refuses to go out in it, she prefers the comfort of her blanket in the chair, sensible girl!

Well, the 100ft-tall Christmas decorations are already in place in the atrium of one of our main shopping malls here - even though there are still 75 shopping days until Christmas! Maybe I should start writing my cards soon

Have a lovely day everyone!

that's true! I wouldn't want to show everyone else up by ensuring that just my cards arrived though!
