A Bleak Outlook

It looks like we will be waiting a long time for some warmer weather according to the forecast. Not a very good sign for the gardeners either....

Re: A Bleak Outlook

That's a bit of bad news alright Mags, I knew we would have to pay for the easy Winter we got, looks like it's back to the drawing board for my traveling plans for next month, and me with my free pass, ah well, maybe June will be kind to us.

Re: A Bleak Outlook

So much for the drought restrictions they have forecast for Spring and Summer!

I suppose the next thing will be a rise in the price of fruit and veg ......

Oh yes, any excuse to hike the prices

Just hope they're wrong in their predictions - fingers crossed

Hope that lovely spell last month wasn't our summer, it's been raining solid here for the last 2 days, the roads are all flooding and the river's very close to coming over the banks.

Re: A Bleak Outlook

According to the news today the drought is still on. It was the wrong type of rain we had

Too much too quickly, and it all runs away, apparently we need short light showers over a prolonged period to fill the reservoirs.
