Mountain Goat

This is the first time at the zoo that a mountain goat has been in a photographic position on his rockface environment. The sky even cooperated.

From the clump of fur on the side of his body I believe he's in the process of shedding his Winter coat as well. It's sometimes odd to see that in animals. The photo below shows the change on what appears to be a very unhappy Meerkat.

I did wonder about the clump on the side of the goat

I love Meerkats and that does look a very unhappy chappy in your photo!

Maybe he has been signed up to work for the meercat boss that does the adverts.
