Oritentals are basically a Siamese without the colour-point markings and have green eyes instead of blue. They share all the character traits of the Siamese ............. including the ear-splitting yowls when they want your attention! YumYum keeps up a runnning chatter with me, and I answer back using the same noises! I have no idea what I'm actually 'saying', but our conversations can go on for ages ................ but she always has to have the last word! Her capacity for play is limitless ~ I swear she runs off of Duracell batteries! She'll play fetch if she feels in the right mood, and will drag favourite toys around the house or upstairs. She tried to drag a large carrier bag downstairs one evening, and ended up tripping or slipping on it as all I suddenly saw was the bag rolling down the last few stairs hitting a wall with a little thud! She walked out of it with a 'I meant to do that, so don't you dare laugh' look on her face!
She is certainly a character Alicat ............... totally spoiled of course by yours truly! The saying 'Dogs have masters and cats have slaves' couldn't be more apt!
