Wild garlic

Loads of it about at the moment, but I've never tried using it in cooking/salads. Does anyone else use it, and if so, what for?

Re: Wild garlic

I never fancy wild garlic these days , the only place I have seen it growing around here is in the local church yard

The green stems are nice finely chopped with the scissors and used in place of chives eg in omletts/salad dressing/creamed potatoes

Re: Wild garlic

I can't walk very far so can't go looking for it growing in the hedgerows, and far less can I bend down to pick it even if I did happen upon some.

Re: Wild garlic

Went walking through woods this afternoon and there was loads of wild garlic-the smell was wonderful. Never used it in cooking though.
