Walk with Bonnie up Latrigg nr Keswick

These are photos taken from a walk I did with Bonnie a couple of weekends ago. It was a beautiful sunny day so just had to take advantage of it. I wanted to do a walk I hadn't done before and it had to be fairly easy for Bonnie and Latrigg ticked all the boxes. The high fells were looking beautiful with a fresh dusting of snow

The peak with snow on is Skiddaw and to the right of it you can see the zig zag path going up to the top which is probably the easiest path to the peak and is often called the tourist path. I've done it myself so it must be easy!

Aren't the colours lovely even at this time of year

Bonnie looks as if she is saying 'come on then, get a move on'

Yes that's what I thought Meg, 'hurry up Mum and catch up'.
What absolutely wonderful countryside, it's all there, the colours the weather and of course the lovely Bonnie. Just think Marian, people pay lots to holiday there to walk those walks and you have it all for free. Thanks.

Wonderful photos, Marian and it looks so serene.

I do wish I had somewhere like that on my doorstep!

Thanks Meg Maryl and Mags. Yes I agree with you Bonnie is probably giving me the "hurry up mum" look as I often stop to look at views and of course take photos! Nothing to do with the fact I'm getting my breath back

Yes I am lucky to live so close to the lakes and its great as I only ever go for walks there when its a nice day so friends and family think it never rains here, if only they knew!!

What beautiful photos, looks like you were using an expensive camera to take such clear photos . Beautiful scenery as well.
