It was a lot lighter this morning and it is dry with the temperature up to 4 degrees but there is a cold wind blowing and it really cuts through the out layers. Mother natures creatures were out early looking for sunstinance and singing the morning songs. You could see all the buds on the trees which could be hit with another frost if we get one.

Plans for today visit to Aldi and Morrisons, doing correspondence and sorting out our accounts before the new tax year, lunch at some local establishment then the afternoon relaxing with Mr Hennessey.

Happy birthday to my lovely Daughter, who we will see you at the week-end.

Good morning all, a lovely clear morning so far, a bit on the cold side but one can expect that. I had a great sleep last night and I'm as fresh as a daisy this morning. I was dreaming of my favoutite writer last night, the one and only Charles Dickens, he was alive and well and living in these modern times, he had a great idea for a novel, but with all this political correctness going on he was unsure how to start the book, it seemed every morning he woke up there was a new law, writing was becoming impossible, he had just heard on the news that optimists and pessimists must have equality in everything, he scratched his head in bewilderment then wrote, "It was the best of times, it was the worst of times", sorry, I couldn't resist that.
How are you all today?, three months after Christmas and nine months before the next Christmas, I'm feeling great today and enjoying myself already.

Good Morning Bob, JemF, and Everyone Grey day so far his morning! Yesterday was a washout in the afternoon - hail stones, melted snow and then heavy rain!

Taking Loki for her blood test in a wee bit. I am still annoyed at the vet not doing the tests last week but still charging me £4 odd for their mistake in having me make the appointment for last week!

That was a strange dream, JemF!! I love Charles Dickens as well - don't get writers like him any more!! My other favourite is Jane Austen.

Thoughts going to all those soldiers in the latest Taliban attack. Condollences to their families and friends. So very sad.

Good morning all. It's midnight here but I'm up for a few minutes before returning to bed. Happy birthday to your daughter Bob.

It's supposed to get up to 64F or 18C today with lots of sun. Yippee! I just got my new camera lens last evening which is why I'm so excited I can't sleep. I hope to get out today for its first test shooting. These are exciting days as my new camera is also just a few weeks from arriving. It's such a blessing to have all this wonderful camera gear. You know me well enough to realize I intend to put it to good use. Other forums are chomping at the bit to see the first results.

I hope Spring is in full bloom for you all these days. I love the pictures that are suddenly appearing on the forum. Have a great day all!

Morning to one and all on this sunny but cold day here in the Midlands.

Heavy duty gardening this morning putting more gravel on the patio area...I've no idea where the last lot went...

Lamb shank and veg for lunch and then friends are coming over for coffee this afternoon.

Hello everyone a sunny day but a bit on the chilly side, here.
I went to the hairdressers this morning for a cut and blow dry, I now feel tidy again when I venture out in the winds

Bright and sunny here, chilly wind though. We spent the morning putting in the cherry tree that hubby got for Christmas, I will be digging the hole for the greengage that I got, this afternoon.
We went to our sons yesterday, it was his birthday (a couple of Pisces we have Ab) The journey was spent in that awful rain..and the spray from the lorries was like driving in a cloud. I think I gripped the wheel too hard, all the way, my hands and arms ached.
Hair looks nice Mags..

Afternoon everyone, recovering from daughters 21st birthday celebrations. she was lucky yesterday to have the day off, it was spent with her friends and family so she is a happy bunny!
