Sentimental Wednesday

Good morning everyone

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PUw125JMVFI

At the moment it is dry but there is an icy wind and dark ominous looking clouds coming from the hills direction.
Mother natures creatures are out in force, they must have had a bad night with the strong winds and rain. They are scrurrying about after food, the cows and sheep are restless and creating a noisey morning.

The weekly shopping is done and I now have Coffee and toasted hotcross buns on my desk, lunch is at home and the afternoon will be spent on genealogy drawing up another part of the family tree.

Lovely picture of Loki Rosemary, he looks like he really was enjoying himself.

Have a great day and dont forget

Re: Sentimental Wednesday

Good morning fellow members the rain is pouring down but we certainly need it around here, the streams are running very low.

I have a date with the oven and and some brillo pads this morning then gingerbread men for the children later, the excitement is almost too much for me

Have a pleasant day everyone.

Re: Sentimental Wednesday

Good morning to all and sundry on this wet and blowy day in the Midlands, although as Meg said, it is actually very welcome...

Off to the garden centre after coffee to pick up some seed pototoes, and Mrs PM is looking for a standard shrub to replace a diseased Photinia. Salmon and roast veg for lunch methinks and then an afternoon of reading and relaxing..

Have a good day all, and to save yourselves a job in the future remember that if you don't use the oven then it will never need cleaning, simple...

Take care out there today.

Dunnoter

Good Morning Bob and Everyone Never got much of a sleep during the night for the galeforce wind and heavy rain!! Bright and sunny out early morning - no wind, or rain but then the heavens opened and the rain came down! Stopped at the moment though!

Loki enjoyed her Gotcha Day yesterday - and spoiled as always But she is well worth it!

Hope you all enjoy a good day today.

Stay safe and take care

Re: Sentimental Wednesday

Good morning all, very windy here and I think it will rain again soon. Just in for a break as I have lots of work to do, then it's out for some liquid refreshment and a bit of craic.
Roll on the Spring, take care Folks.

This place is called "Gentle Dock" in Donegal.

Re: Sentimental Wednesday

Hello everyone, it has been raining here all morning but the sky is starting to look a bit brighter. Athough the temperature shows 11ºC there is quite a nip in the air still.

I popped into Sainsbury's earlier and it was so quiet in there, even the staff were asking where everyone was this morning.

Enjoy your day and stay dry!

Re: Sentimental Wednesday

Lovely pics Rosemary and Jem, makes you want to sit on the grass banks and take it all in.
The day was horrid early this morning, rain and strong winds. Now the sun's out and the winds are dying down, much nicer. I have just called to postpone my mammogram appointment because the hospital has that norovirus again so will go later when it's clear.

Re: Sentimental Wednesday

Good Morning...

It is to be nice, nice, nice here today. High of 13 and sunshine! All 5 of my daycare kiddies have colds which I have manage to dodge so far. The plans are to get out in the sunshine (with lots of tisues in the pocket) and hopefully soak in some Vit D and improve moods (if that's possible).

I agree Annie and what a terrible waste of young lives. Those poor Mothers carrying and raising their babies all to come to nothing ...
