Winter fair

This little video is from the opening of the 160th winter market held in Røros - a small, former copper mining town (now a World Heritage site) in the mountains 150 km from Trondheim (my city).
The opening includes the parade of over eighty equipages from Sweden, Østerdalen, Hedmark, Gauldalen & Tydal. They keep alive the tradition of coachmen transporting food & goods across the mountains to Røros. Some of them have travelled up to 15 days with horse & sleighs.
