Torrential rain, high winds and lots of webbed feet walking the lane. There is an alert on for flooding so send the southerner up here so that they can take home buckets full of water for their gardens.

Weekly shopping done, now it is time to relax with a couple of Toasted Hot Cross buns and a cup-o-Coffee. The rest of the day will be spent indoors relaxing with a computer magazine and the possible company of Mr Hennessey.

Not stormy yet here in the Midlands but forecast to be later. Just having coffee after chopping some wood, and we are off to the woods shortly with the dogs in case it is too wet later. Alfie seems to have quite thin fur which gets very wet very quickly and he soon gets chilled... I don't like doggy coats but may have to invest in one for him for when the weather's bad.

Good morning everyone grey and windy here and just starting to rain,all in all rather a dismal day.

I have a sore throat caught from my Daughter in Law I think so I won't be doing anything special today. Going to make some soup to comfort myself

Supposed to be grey most of the day here with the chance of a shower or two later on.

Bob you are welcome to all the rain you get, its one reason why I could never move to the north of the country. I'm sure we will have enough water down south we always have had in the past.

Good Morning Bob and Everyone Same weather as you are experiencing, Bob, up here! Even the parrots are sick of looking out at it streaming down the windows! I don't mind the rain and walking out in it but I hate the strong winds as well!!

Dismal weather here as well, rained buckets over night judging by the amount of water lying at bottom of driveway and pools of water in field behind me. Very windy as well and one advantage of having an old dog is she's not keen on this weather so have not been out for a walk yet. So will take her out later on. Even the cat refuses to go out.

Nothing to much planned for today, office bound this morning and have to go out later on, so hope its calmed down by then.

Hope your sore throat doesn't develop into anything else Meg.

Good morning all. There are advantages here to have wet weather and that would be the temperature. It's 51F, 10C at 3 in the morning right now. That's really quite warm. We are still looking at a dry day tomorrow so I'll start planing an outside day, maybe a scooter ride somewhere not to far from home.

I just downloaded a great pool game for free for my Mac which I find great entertainment. I spend hours just enjoying beating the computer. I used to play a lot of pool on a real table.

Dull, dreary and raining here, 9ºC. Only 11 days until March so hopefully we can expect an improvement in the weather soon.

No plans for today other than the routing tasks.

Meg, I do hope your sore throat doesn't develop into another chest infection, you've had more than your fair share of those
