Our Secret Hideout

When we were kids this is the sort of place we'd use as our secret hideout. It's actually located at Wahkeena Falls along the Columbia River Gorge in Oregon. I go there often.

That looks like a neat place to explore. I bet the woods (not in the outhouse) smells wonderful! I have a friend that moved to Oregon (back to her home state) and I think it would be wonderful to visit her and see the beauty of your photographs 1st hand.

Thank you! It is a wonderful & mysterious place. There's so much to see and such diversity that it would take a month to cover all the sights. There's something for everyone.

Lovely Bob, reminds me of that fairy tale 'Hansel and Gretel'.

I love this time of year there as the moss is thick & bright green with the overcast skies and constant drizzle.

Those little buildings are quite sweet, but why would anyone put a modern style roof on what appears to be an old stone structure? The two sets of materials just bark at each other.

Those are very quaint buildings, Bob and quite off the beaten track for rest rooms.
