Today's dog walk, Sale Fell

I took advantage of the dry and sunny weather today for a trip to the Lakes. With me was Bonnie and my neighbour's dog a working cocker called Lucy.

We went part way to Sale Fell which Bonnie can manage ok. The mountain with snow on is Skiddaw.

It was extremely windy up there!

Stopped off on the way home - Bonnie in the background

I was leaning on the gate taking a photo when this sheep came to say hello

Absolutely stunning Marian You are lucky to have such wonderful places to walk.

Did you get that close to the sheep?

Ha ha yes I did get that close to the sheep, I could have stroked it. I felt a bit sorry for it though as it thought I was going to feed it and then all the others started coming over to the gate so I thought I'd better go, as didn't want them to get the wrong idea

Thanks Mags. Yes I'm lucky!! I'm not too far away from the Lakes.

Wow nice pictures. A gentle reminder that I'm sitting here in Canada and you are so far away sharing pictures

Such beauty, like picture postcards. Looks as if the doggies enjoyed themselves too.

Lovely pics. Reminds me of all the walking I have enjoyed in Cumbria over the years. Beautiful place.
