North Yorkshire Police find nine people in uninsured car

Despite two doors not opening on the hatchback, there were five passengers on the back seat and two women in the boot.
Police footage showed people crawling out of the car which officers said would have caused "utter carnage" should it have crashed.
Seriously, though, that is totally irresponsible and, hopefully, criminal .....

The occupants all seemed to have large shopping bags full of stuff too
amazing how much they crammed into the car. I am a assuming the car was confiscated if it was 'uninsured and unroadworthy' if not it should have been.

The car will be impounded and probably crushed after 7 days if it was found to be unroadworthy. The driver will be charged with driving without insurance, probably not having an MoT for the car, plus anything else the rozzers can dream up. Every one of the 7 people would have to arrange their own return home from where they were stopped. PC Plod wouldn't lift a finger to help them with that - not that I care.|
