Good morning Wednesday !

Good Morning everyone

Going to be dry but overcast here today.

Yesterday was weird - sunshine, rain, hailstones, and a thunderstorm - all in the space of a couple of hours.

I am house bound anyway - 2 x parcel deliveries due and a telephone consultation with the surgical team at the hospital. Just a follow up - nothing sinister.

I am also stuck in, car due back from the garage today

Same weird weather yesterday, the hailstones were huge and the new plants flattened.

A quiet day, I did not have a good night.

Morning all.

I will be home for the morning, then must go into town for several things. One of which is to withdraw cash to pay the man who came and repaired my bedroom window yesterday. It now has new hinges and a new handle/lock, and closes perfectly. I will have to ask the previous owner how long they put up with it for. She did tell me whenever they went away her partner had to slam it shut. Well it was now completely busted, so had to be fixed.

Good morning everybody.

I managed to mow yesterday before the rain arrived and I started re-organizing the spare room, so I will continue there today to give me the space I will need to refurbish another bedroom.
With a bit of ironing and another walk, that will take most of my day.

I plan a walk round Carsington Water with my friend Chris today. We usually go off track and end up in a tiny village where we eat our sandwiches on a seat on the Village Green. Is it going to be warm enough I wonder....

Later Tony & I are going round to see daughter in law Paula with Birthday cake - she's 39 today.

Good morning everyone from a beautifully sunny Yorkshire

More decorating for me ...the bedroom is looking really pretty but wouldn't you know...Im just a length short of wallpaper so have to order another roll....always happens doesn't it.

Good morning everyone, a stormy afternoon and night here too yesterday afternoon, but a quieter and drier forecast for today I believe.

Just back from the forest and having a brew before doing a couple of jobs in the garden, and we are taking eldest daughter to her hospital appointment after lunch, so not too busy a day.

Morning all, was hoping today would be dry, but the forecast is for rain later this afternoon. I agree Tabby, yesterday was weird here too - I drove through torrential rain, and lots of standing water to collect my daughter and granddaughter from school. By the time they got to the car (about 10 minutes later), the sun was shining in a bright blue sky, and all the standing water had disappeared down the drains.

Going to collect our granddaughter's bike today, which we've bought in advance for her 6th birthday. She came with us to choose it because we needed to get the size right, so it won't be a surprise sadly.
