Re: Wet wednesday

Dampish here too, though nothing actually falling at the mo. Weren't the temperatures crazy yesterday? Talk about wet and warm - real monsoon weather.
I'm on my own again till Friday evening *sigh* - maybe I should shorten his chain?
I don't think there's any news here - if there is I'll return to impart it

Re: Wet wednesday

Morning all - rain teeming down here on the West coast of Scotland, as normal, sun shining as well! Although yesterday was nice and sunny in the afternoon. It isn't very cold though at 52 degrees.

Morning all

It started off wet but has stopped raining now. I have been washing down paintwork ready to sand this afternoon, I want it painted by Sunday! as I am working for the next three days it will be tricky!

My friend is coming over this afternoon and we will be taking the dogs for a lovely walk, can't wait.

Hope you are all having a lovely day!

Re: Wet wednesday

Afternoon All! It's absolutely chucking it down here in West Berkshire! Asti has just asked to go out into the garden I said to her "you won't like it", I let her out, she took a few steps outside and came back in She doesn't mind the rain but not when it's really heavy. Still, like some have said, we can certainly do with it.

Re: Wet wednesday

Beautiful sunny day here and a tad warmer, 20 degrees, but howling winds. There's a Wind Advisory till 6 pm; out of the Northwest at 15 - 25 mph with gusts to 40. Rattling the windows and knocking over the rubbish bins; cats hate wind. My Leia went out and promptly came back in to have a nap in the sun in her chair. No news at all here, slept late and have done chores; very exciting!
