Houses like these? Yes please!

I found this on the BBC news today - I adore this house, its wonderful!

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/av/uk-eng...ondon-56582064

It reminded me of another house that the woman struggled to sell because it was so very.....colourful

Everyone's tastes are different. The world would be boring if it were not so.

Personally I don't like either one of those. I'm not impressed by the dodgy wiring in the second house either.

I had a former colleague who bought his house at a much reduced price because all the external woodwork had been painted black.

Fruitcake, I don't know if I could live in them and wake up to that every day, but I would like to try! Black woodwork is a bit much, to be honest, yes....I would probably repaint it as well. In fact, I would have an ordinary looking house, but moderate splashes of colour inside - or maybe one crazy room, and the rest normal.

Hi Pixie I just couldn't live in a cluttered house or in anywhere painted red or pink
It has to be minimalist and calm colours.

I think I would run out screaming if I had to spend more than an hour in those houses

Meg, my house is pretty much pale walls and furnishings, to be honest , and I do find it calming moving from room to room- I think that's why I like these bizarre creations, though. I have a spare room which I do arts and crafts in....and I'm in a mischievous mood, with a month of lockdown to endure....so....lets just say I'm inspired to make a few changes!

I'd be worried about the person hiding in the corner, holding what looks like a scalp, or possibly a shrunken head in their hand!
