The Census

Hi

I was away for it, not a problem at all.

Rang the number, explained I was in hospital on Census Day, but home now., put through to a lovely lady, a couple of minutes, job done.

Easy Peasy.

My named nurse on my last two days in hospital was called Jiffy.

I had to explain to her Jiffy, she was Kerallian.

Unless UK born and registered details of passport or documents proving right of residence in the UK should have been a question.

We REALLY NEED an identification document now.

I agree. Everyone else seems to have them, so why not us?

I'm sure the government it something to do with it.

The trouble is with having to justify your legality means that the census will be inaccurate, because illegals will not fill out the form.....It is estimated that the 68 million residents of the UK is really well over 70 million. The survey was carried out by the supermarkets, after all, everybody has to eat and they know by the amount of food sold now compared to past records an estimate can be calculated.
