Space x starship

In the latest update, Elion Musk has announced that the Space X Star ship will be able to carry up to 100 people to and from the moon. The star ship is designed to be fully reusable landing again on earth after various space flights.
Musk said that space X will launch 100 plus flights PRIOR to any manned missions. During those flights, Star ship will place 200 satellites in earth orbit, per mission.
Ultimately, Space X's star ship will carry 100 plus people to Mars.

I must admit, "star ship" is one extremely bizarre looking space craft. Looks like something a child might design.

Re: Space x starship

Don't underestimate Elon Musk. His company has designed and USED a fully reusable space craft that has gone into obit, docked with the international space station, (ISS) dropped off, and picked up astronauts and returned safely to earth.

Remember, 190 years ago, scientists claimed that if a train carried passengers at a greater speed than 12 miles/hour, all of the air would be sucked out and people would die.

Also, at the start of the 20th century, some fool in charge of the patent office said, "Everything thing can be invented, has already been invented". 3 years later. the Wright Brothers flew their plane for the 1st time. 66 years after THAT, man landed on the moon.

So they will carry people to the moon or mars and leave them there? Interesting.

Those folks who will man the permanent moon orbital space station and those who land on the moon and build permanent "moon stations" will voyage back and forth to earth.

It is thought that those who voyage to Mars MAY become permanent inhabitants of Mars. Obviously, an all volunteer crew. It is planned that the mars crews will be 50% male, 50% female. Just think of it. The off-springs from those unions will, in fact, be MARTIANS. Wild, huh ?
