Changing the bedding

We change our bedding every week .
We have a king size bed and bedding to match .
The duvet cover is a two person job and I always think how will it be when one of us goes ?
My husband loves a big bed so if I pop my clogs first I wonder if he will get a housekeeper in to help do the duvet ?
A mundane but sobering thought.
How do people manage.?

Re: Changing the bedding

King size bed, so once a week, bottom sheet, top sheet, six pillow cases are laundered.

Once a month the 2 quilts, 2 standard shams, and 2 Euro shams are washed.

Down comforter dry cleaned at the end of the season. Duvet that envelopes it washed about once a month.

Throw pillows vacuumed as needed.

Essentially, it's a full-time job with dogs who think the bed is theirs .

Yes he has a duvet...I turn the duvet cover inside out..then put my hands inside ,catch the two ends of the duvet, hold tight, then peel the duvet cover on like a banana...

You can always look on YouTube ,for an easy way to put the duvet cover on to the duvet.

Re: Changing the bedding

I prefer fighting with the duvet cover on the duvet. Its good exercise and stress relief when I shake it up to level it.

I only have a single bed, so it only needs changing once per month.

It's great for practicing bad words, too.
