Yes, spelling and punctuation is awful.

My laptop has benn dying and using an add on keyboard.

New laptop has arrived but not the best at setting it up.

I wish you the best of luck with your new lappy. Most are plug-and-play with the easy to follow on-screen instructions and hopefully yours will be the same :thumbup:

New laptop is not new, it is a Lenovo thinkpad, 8gb ram , 256 ssd.

Setting it up is a nightmare if you want to protect your privacy.

Oh dear - it's actually a Lenova I have been looking at. Will check reviews and see if it mentions difficulty in setting up this model.

Used to have a Lenovo until it got nicked. Best laptop we ever owned in terms of reliability and build quality.

Dunno what security settings Swimmy is referring to, but these will be software issues and not hardware.

I never complain about the odd typos Swim, people using smartphones and/or predictive text, or people who didn't listen in their English classes at school (I'm the worst) as long as I get the gist of what people are saying that's good enough for me...No need to apologise Swims.....
