Even in the darkest of times you can have a laugh.

Your hair needs to be washed and you do need a shave to get the seal on an oxygen mask.

NHS razors are rubbish and lethal if you are on blood thinners.

They need to shave your head above your ears to get the forced oxygen mask on.

You ladies get away with it, us men need shaving every day to maintain the fit.

The Army Meds are the best at this.

Best shave ever, they rub the cream in for ages and then wipe it off and reapply it before shaving you.

Absolutely brilliant.

You then get Army Humour, your skin is as smoth as a babys bottom.

Shame about the rest.

I'd much rather have a bunch of military medics do the shaving than most hospital staff, Swimmy. Good to hear you were in good spirits about the whole thing.

I had one before my hernia operation.

Apparently a Brazilian originally meant a shaved head, both men and women, due to an outbreak of headlice on board a ship.
All true according to QI.

I got one when I had my stents inserted. It was done with electric clippers too, no wet shave in theatre for me.
