Do they know Christmas?

We have just come back from a walk around the neighbourhood and I was disgusted with the lack of Christmas lights.

Are people so pathetic that they do not know the twelve days of christmas?

Ours will not be coming down until the 6th as it should be.

Our glitz came down on New Year's Eve AB - I wanted a clean sweep and didn't want to take all the tat into the New Year. Spiders had made cobwebs in the tree, but it hadn't dropped its needles at all, so it is now on the back garden patio (undressed, but looking good) for as long as it lasts. I always feel guilty about the tree after Christmas.

Woe betide anyone touching Christmas decorations in this house until after January 6th., herself would would take the hand off you!.

I removed ours today, but I must admit the place now looks pretty bare and unloved, back to normal in fact....

Our tree came down today...son-in-law is popping in tomorrow to put the box in the loft, so it had to go. However, our lights are still up and on, out the front and our cards and candles in the living room.
There is a box of beers unopened, if anyone fancies a warm one

My tree and decs are still up. I will be taking the dining room ones down tomorrow but the rest will stay up.

we always leave the tree up until the 12th night, i have took some of the decoration down today but the rest will remain until the weekend.

I will leave all of mine until the 6th. If my mum ever took them down before this she would always leave just one little decoration up until the 12th night to ward off back luck.

Mine's coming down tomorrow, I can't wait to tidy up and get back to normal.

We took ours down today ,nice to get house back to normal .
