Easter's coming!
How about this for madness then . . .The Co-op are stocking large Easter Eggs, Creme Eggs, Mini eggs and chocolate Bunnies already.
Apparently they had them out on the shelves by Boxing Day!
Morrisons and Aldi are flogging Hot Cross Buns, and some branches of Tesco are also selling full size Easter Eggs.
Personally I really don't like to see this.
I do not like to see them pushing Easter stuff on Boxing Day, I think it's ridiculous and spoils the gradual return to normal after the festivities. Many haven't even taken their decorations down yet, so what's the rush?
What do you think - is it too early to push Easter goodies?

Can't agree with that Tachyon.
Yes chocolate and buns are just that, but it is the intent that is wrong to me.
Easter is April, not December.
Would you celebrate your birthday 4 months before it was due, and still say 'Birthday cake is just birthday cake?'

Never mind Easter, keep "Old Skool" and concentrate on Pesach! It begins an hour before sunset 27 March and ends an hour after sunrise 4 April.Seder meal egg? Yes, but not a chocolate egg, a hardboiled thing sometimes peeled and in salt water, sometimes just peeled and dipped in salt and eaten at the end of the Seder meal. Symbolic of the salt tears our lot shed during their enslavement in Egypt.
