A hard frost outside.

Had to wrap a few scarves around to put the rubbish in the wheelie bin to be collected today.

The road and pavements are ice rinks, not been gritted.

Another quiet day ahead.

Pavements are lethal here too - hibernation seems good to me!

Was given three books as Christmas gifts - could start on those, and have birthday cards to make for January/February.

Looking through the window it's white outside - don't know if it's frost or snow!!

I'm waiting in until the doctor phones about an appointment I'm trying to make for Tony - what a palaver it is trying to see a doctor now.
Later I hope to go to the Easy Midlands Designer Outlet to the Pavers shop there. I badly need some new shoes & they have my style.

Nothing else planned.

Good Morning everyone....Im feeling left out this morning after receiving videos of all my grandkids playing in the snow and here is me just a few miles down the road and not a flake of snow in sight....tuts...hoping for some of the white stuff later

It has been a miserable day, 6mm of rain overnight, cloudy and cold today only got up to 20' all day.

Haven't been anywhere today. A case of Covid identified this morning in Wollongong in someone who had been to Sydney but tracing still going on. First case in the LGA since September, so disappointing.

Hope your day turns out to be more exciting.

Good morning everyone a cold day with snow underfoot making it treacherous. At least the muddy lane isn't slippy.

I have a Waitrose delivery this morning and the pre deliver email says they have the whole order nothing missing which is unexpected after the warnings about shortages .
Once it has arrived I can make some soup leek for lunch.

Woke up to about one inch of snow and still coming...
I cancelled my early morning run! It's been a very long time since I have had to do that. It was always going to be a struggle to be ready for a funeral at 10:30am though.

Not a Covid death this time, but a brain tumour finally ended several week of anguish and pain for our next door neighbours daughter in law. A sad day..... I'm off to dig the car out now....

Morning all, white over here too but seems to be easing now.

Main job of the day is trying to locate some flourescent tubes for the utilitg room as ours suddenly stopped working last night, they seem an odd size so I may have to trawl around the wholesalers.
